Coupang and OpenAI co-hosted AI Grand Prix, a two-day hackathon that brought about 100 AI builders to Carousell's office in Singapore. They asked us to take care of everything guests would see, wear and take home, from the T-shirts to the first prizes, and to have the room ready before the doors opened. We had under 10 days.

In each of the 100 bags: the event T-shirt, a mini camera keychain, a charging cable and a set of four die-cut stickers.

01 · The brief

A hackathon needs a lot of small things to land at once: something to wear, something to take home, a badge for every guest, a room that looks like an event, and prizes worth competing for. Coupang and OpenAI wanted all of it in the AI Grand Prix look, for about 100 participants, and the clock was short: under 10 days from brief to doors open.

02 · What we made

T-shirts in the event's artwork, mini camera keychains, charging cables and die-cut stickers, all packed into 100 co-branded Coupang and OpenAI tote bags, one per guest. Lanyards with name badge holders for registration. Backdrops, standees and pull-up banners for the room. We also sourced the first-prize gifts, Mac minis among them, so the organisers had one less thing to chase.

Branded down to the details: the AI Grand Prix logo on every mini camera, Coupang on every cable.

03 · On the day

Our team arrived before the guests and set up the room: backdrops and pull-up banners at the entrance and by the stage, the standee up front, badges and lanyards laid out at registration, bags ready to hand out. When the doors opened, the event looked finished.
